Telecom Italia is reported to be selling it 30 per cent holding in Telekom Austria, and may also dispose of stakes in France's Bouygues Telecom, Spanish telecoms holding company Auna, and Turkish mobile venture Aria, 49 per cent owned by mobile arm TIM. Now controlled by Pirelli, it will retain its Latin America interests but possibly raise up to EUR 6 billion through the disposals DEUTSCHE TELEKOM EBITDA GROWS
Deutsche Telekom reported nine-month net profit of EUR 1.6 billion before goodwill and excluding third-generation (3G) costs. But the net income showed a loss of EUR 3.1 billion (US$2.81 billion) for the nine months.
