At long last and too late for Minneapolis, Glenn and I have posted an
updated VPIM V2 R2 specification. I would like to call for review a number
of items that were changes since the last version.

                - Various and substantial editorial updates to improve
readability. These included a substantial reordering of the content-type
descriptions to bring together related requirements by extension rather than
by the RFC822, MIME, and SMTP component. (thanks to Greg White)
                - Reworked the sensitivity requirements to align them with
X.400. Eliminated dependencies upon the MIXER documents. (thanks to WG
feedback during San Diego)
                - Addressed a number of corrections and clarification
request posted by Emily Candell.
                - Merged in text from RFC 2423 (Multipart/voice-message).
VPIM defines multipart/voice-message. Glen and I agreed that formaly
registering it in a separate document was silly and a waste of time and
paper.
                - Aligned / fixed the table of Appendix A to the
requirements in the text.
Please review. It probably has been far too long since most of us have read
the thing..... I expect Glenn to issue a working-group last-call in the next
few days.

Greg V.
