You don't store the list of mail folders in ACAP. Instead, you define
an ACAP profile that you use to map from logical folder names (outbox,
sent mail) to specific folders on specific servers. The profile would
also contain a mapping from the logical folder name to a locale-specific
presentation string for use by the MUA. In this way you have completely
abstracted the logical folders from the implementation space. By using
ACAP inheritance you can set a default logical folder namespace, and
then override it on a per-server, per-clienthost, per-mua-type, and
per-language basis (or via combinations of these).
