Aziz,

Thank you for the opportunity to read your white paper. I enjoyed
almost all aspects of your presentation style.

The most constructive suggestion I could make is that you might
want to add a section 8.1, "Transport Requirements", in which you
could reiterate some of the SMTP requirements or move them in
from their other locations, in addition to perhaps going into
more detail about nondelivery notifications and the like, and, a
new section 8.2, "Content Requirements", which you might want to
devote to the 32 kbps ADPCM (G.726-32) audio content standard
which is likely to be an early dominant format in VPIM systems.

One other note; I'm sure the "For Internal Use Only" notation was
from a document template, but it doesn't mean anything for messages
sent to an IETF list, which enter a legal category similar to the
public domain in some respects. The details are explained in the
"Note Well" notice sent the middle of last month, and at
  http://www.ietf.org/maillist.html
I hope this will not disuade you from continuing to refine and
publish your expostions on VPIM here and in the forums of those
you think might come to see the value of supporting more VPIM
client and server implementations.

Cheers,
James
